CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To ensure you get the maximum value and extend the life of your cloths please follow these simple cleaning instructions.

Washing

You can either hand wash or machine wash your cloths. Please ensure you use a light detergent. For best results, only wash microfibre cloths with other microfibre products. This will prevent the microfibres collecting lint from fabrics such as cotton or wool. Always separate and wash your cloths based on the use to prevent cross contamination.

Β IMPORTANT:Β Do not use any bleach, fabric softener or detergents containing fabric softener.

Fabric softeners clog the microscopic fibres reducing its absorption capacity and essentially making the cloths ineffective and of little use. Bleach will prematurely deteriorate the cloths. If your cloths are exceptionally dirty you can pre-soak your cloths in a bucket of warm water. This will loosen the dirt and dust in the microfibres and assist in the cleaning process.Β

Drying

You can either hand dry or machine dry your cloths. If using a machine dryer, use a low heat setting. Excessive heat or high heat can destroy the microfibres. To extend the life of your cloths it is recommended to hang them out and air dry them. If you use your microfibre cloths for several different applications, it is best to sort the cloths before laundering.

If you are not familiar with microfibre cleaning cloths, we hope you find this information useful in understanding this amazing technology.

Microfibre cloths are made from millions and millions of tiny filaments all acting together to attract and hold dirt and dust. They are wedge shaped and extremely small, much smaller than the dirt they pick up. This unique combination plus static electricity is what makes the remarkable product work so well. The wedge-shaped filaments are able to lift up the particles and, because there are thousands present in a very tiny area, the dirt and dust are trapped in place. That means they do not drop off until immersed in water and washed out.

Benefits of Microfibre

  • Microfibre can be washed and re-used hundreds of times.
  • Microfibre is made of two basic fibres: Polyester and Polyamide.
  • Microfibre will not and cannot scratch surfaces, however the dirt picked up may.
  • Microfibre can absorb more water than any other known fabric. Up to 7 times its own weight.
